Feng shui may seems like a superstition to some or most people, mi for instance. I remember my 1st encounter with feng shui is the Luo Pan (chinese compass) , which i've seen in the old style of chinese zombies show starring Lin Zheng Ying ( a HK actor who is famous for his roles as a Taoist Priest excorcising zombies). If i remembered correctly, in the show he once (or many times) used the luo pan to track zombies or ghost their direction. At tat time i was so mesmerise by being a Priest too, tat i wanted a "tao mu jian" (wooden sword) and a luo pan. After a few years later i found a luo pan with book in a bookstore, went to buy it...abit disappointing cos it's not the authentic luo pan...but still it was my 1st start at feng shui. In the later years, i brought quite a number of other feng shui books, been studying the art till today (quite impressed by myself cos din actually study something for so long).

Opps sorry for digressing away...after been study for a few years i've found tat feng shui actually talks abt common sense, for example why can't u put a mirror in front of ur bed...for superstition they will say the mirror will "suck" away ur soul (tat's wat i've heard, if u hav others leave mi a comment) but as wat i've interpret from feng shui is tat if u happen to hav a nightmare and wakes up at night and suddenly saw someone in front of u (actually is u lah) would u be afraid? But of course there are some feng shui may seem more towards the superstition side...so it ultimately depends on wat u believe! (here's an advice for everyone going into a similar art, dun get urself too involved until u are clouded)

Oh btw...if u are still wondering who is Lin Zheng Ying, i would recommend going to the vcds or dvds store and get urself a vcd of "jiang shi tao zhan" (Mister Vampire???), if u like it u may collect all the series...hmm...i think got abt 3-4 series (oh there's also other vampire show which

DO NOT starred Lin Zheng Ying so luk carefully)

Oh Oh...before i end, here's an advice i've read from a book (Lillian Too). Put 3 chinese coins tied with red strings in ur wallet or bag...it can help ur wealth luck oh!!!
