The new year is coming in another few hours time, btw remb to coundown an xtra second cos the earth will be one sec slower this year before going into the next year! So let's countdown...11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...hapi new year...so that is wat i believe it will be on the actual countdown...haha!

Guys planned on wat is your new year resolutions liao? If u haven done tat or alredi done tat (i simply heck care) pls include a xtra resolution which is "Treat Ah Tan much more better next year" wahaha... If you guys are wondering wat's my new year resolutions are, it is actually quite easily attainable which is "Get watever i wished for..."

In the new year people you are gonna see a new ah tan called "The New Ah Tan" with his new slogan " More New Eat, Shit, Sleep and Play", not bad for a new transformation huh. If you are wondering wat will the New Ah Tan be, simply just imagine wat i luk like now lor. So in more simple terms (for those who still haven gt the joke) i will jus be the same xcept with a new name as "The New Ah Tan" and a new slogan "More New Eat, Shit, Sleep and Play". Understand? If you still cannot understand please go to a wall and forcefully bang ur head (yes ur head!) onto the wall until u can understand den u stop, ok (moron!)

Anyway guys have a nice countdown party today cos u don't celebrate moving onto the year 2006 every year rite?

Oh My God (and btw he is nt up there...) it is going to be the end of the...world? nope...year! Just a few days later and we are gonna leap into year 2006 liao, wonder wat kind of future awaits mi? Will all my resolutions be "resolut-ed" neh, or maybe some other unforeseen circumstances may disrupt my plans? Watever it is i hope to see some light (hope) emitting once i've step into the 2006, btw speaking of light these days weather also quite bad hor...kept raining.

Anyway maybe there is something for mi to luk forward to in 2006...which is achieving my 10 yrs of service to the corps, quite an achievement if i've to say so myself...haha! Soon i'll be joining suksi in the 10yrs veteran alummi club, which she has joined 2 yrs earlier than mi...wahaha! Maybe have a parade or something to celebrate huh...ya shld hav...but in my dreams lah haha!

Next year going back to study liao, wonder wat will it be like? Fun, stressful, interesting...i will never know now until the day it comes. Hopefully i can do a good job in my studies so maybe can get some xemptions to my degree if i'm getting to there lah, which i hope to go lah. So long haven been studying liao since i got into NS, i wonder if my languages is too off the standard liao. I think i need to read up more books to brush up my english liao, using too much singlish during NS time liao.

Gosh...i almost forgotten that next yr, lots of my cousins plus my brother and sister is gonna get married too. Woh...nxt yr so much hapiness is in the air man, got to get myself a suit and use it thru out the year bah. Thinking of it makes mi so xcitied leh, imagine going to chruch, going to ROM, going to banquet or maybe even going ard for tea ceremonies...it will be so much fun man!

Erm...although next yr has some uncertainty waiting for mi to xplore, but in consolation i've many interesting things awaiting for mi too. So 2006 isn't gonna be such a bad year afterall, anyway let's hope for a better next year than this year bah! Hapi New Year!

Yesterday was quite a gathering...18 people turned up for the gathering although we din get to eat together, cos some were abit late. Anyway we had soup, galic bread, salads, chicken, pork, cakes, cock tails and maybe some others which i may not remember, but in conclusion we ate alot of food. We ate as we tok about things, and also joking ard especially when kirin (qilin) toks abt his campmates. And also he asked us whether the tekong ghost stories are true, which it reminds mi of those "famous" tekong stories i heard from. So wat do you know, i started telling people abt those ghost stories, wat a x'mas eve to tok abt such things...wahahaha!

Anyway after the eating, the gals help one of my cousins Fen on make up cos the nxt day is her engagement day. She is one cousin who doesn't puts on make up for all occasion (unless those i dunno of lah), but instead she is the 1st among us to have a engagement. The guys were sitting ard toking and afew like kirin and his bro were "showing" of the dances in my cousins room dancing with the music played on the com.

After much play...we din realise it is getting late and we might be late for our movie, Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrode, so we decide to take taxis down. So some will take the taxis and one group will take the car, the arrangements makes mi think of it as a rehearsal of a wedding where we have to followed the bride or groom around...haha! Wat a gd practiced rehearsal...

Btw guys i find the movie quite good, why not instead of very good? Cos i'm a fan of magic, so if i'm watching fantasy i would prefer the movie to filled with lots of magic flying here and there. But still i still find this movie good thot i think the starting of the movie is all about introduction, tat's is of cos...but i like actions mah...haha!

Anyway hope u guys also got to hav a nice x'mas eve...!

Merry X'mas (Eve) people! This is a day everyone is waiting for...at least those who are celebrating x'mas lah...I'm gonna have fun and more fun today, can't wait for the time to come so i can go down and celebrate this x'mas with my cousins. X'mas is around the corner guys! If u wanna get mi (better get mi or...hehehe...) a present for x'mas please get it fast cos is coming soon (hurry up lar...WLOS!). Anyway the gang of cousins had decided to celebrate this x'mas again, it's has alredi become a tradition for the cousins to celebrate together. This year will be abit more special cos more cousins (and their partners) will be joining, we always has this unwritten rule that is those who doesn't know how to take care of themselves (especially dunno how to go back home by themselves) will not be invited. It is because it's a day for everyone to have fun and play around, not taking care of someone, this makes it less enjoyable. And so this year alot more cousins has grown up and is invited to this x'mas party, come to think of it almost all of our cousins have grown up and is now "admitted" into the circle, of cos there's afew exceptional cases lah!

And btw this year i actually wanted to buy and send out x'mas cards to my frens, but the most unforunate thing happen to mi...which is broke. At 1st i had some bucks to spare to buy the cards but becos of the...MOB...i spent $30 on taxis and so result of this year no cards. So frens reading my blog please understand why i stopped sending out cards liao is bcos i'm abit damn broke...(wat a sad thing to happen around x'mas and the new year...haiz...!)

Yesterday was suppose to be exciting day but then it turns out to be more "exciting" than wat i was expecting! After finished my study business, mi and a fren went to delifrance for our lunch while also waiting for a fren to meet us. Jus when i finished my soup tat comes along with the Crab D'sire set, my HP rang. I pick up the phone and it was this guy telling mi who he is...and why is he calling mi "Mob is activated at..." at this moment i was SHOCKED and ask something stupid to confirm..."Do i need to go back camp?" and the answer was "Yes". At this moment the sian-ness flowed all over mi, den i decided to finish my meal 1st before i report back to camp cos i paid for the meal alredi liao!

Got back to camp den saw my fren, ask him how? He told mi finish three stations can go back liao. When i heard tat, i was like "huh, i went back to change into my uniform and took my FBO down, and to do this only." But after tat i was abit glad cos at least i can still go down for the BBQ tat was wat i'm actually supposed to go ONLY! But i'm more "dishearted" cos i paid $30 for taxi jus to go home change uniform, and take taxi down to camp, den lastly taxi home cos taking so many things. I suddenly became from $30 richer to $30 poorer, WA CAU!

At least there was consolation at the end of the day, where i went down to the BBQ. Everyone was having fun trying their hands at the BBQ and also the charcoal. But wat was fun was the chit chat seession of the seniors toking abt the past and the feature of the day was the true or dare, which we wanted to sabo the "couples". Fortunately the bottle really spins and points to the "couples" tat we wanted to sabo, gt them to do alot of stupid things like feeding their partner mushmallow...wahaha...(want to know more? c the pics of tat nite bah!) Anyway we play alot, laugh alot and we enjoyed really alot, hope to have something similar in the future again!

It's another "low morale" day, why is it low morale cos it's wednesday and it is in the middle of the week. It is a day u are neither near the weekends cos u still need to pass thru 2 days which is 48hrs or 2,880mins or 172,800secs, too long to bear...cos when after u had alredi managed to pass thru 2 days which is 48hrs or 2,880mins or 172,800secs. It is such an torment for pple to wait for so many days to pass by, and especially something big or fun is during the weekends it makes ur waiting seems like years to come man!

Hopefully i can get my hands on a stopwatch tat can stop, go back time and to the future. Wahaha (mad scientist laughter!) Imagine wat i can do...wahaha (mad scientist laughter again!) Anyway this is crap unless i got myself a "back to the future" car or the watch from hermo...(wat's the name again?) from Harry Potter otherwise i'm still stuck in this "time period". So i've planned a operations "steal time"to steal either the car or the watch...wahaha!

After i've finish this post, i'm still 48hrs plus or 2,880mins plus or 172,800secs plus away from the weekends. BTW u think i'll really count the time, u think i siao liao arh!

Today was such a sleepy day and also yesterday, why? Cos i went to a camp helping out as Advisor (Driver...haha). Although yesterday i slept quite early, i couldn't wake up in the morning but i was awaken by my HP...alot of people were calling mi to "enquiry" things. Anyway all those things shld hav been settle by nw bah? Hopefully!

Let's tok about the camp man, ignoring that it was a training camp. The support side of the camp was very fun, everyone was practically "craping" thru out the camp. Toking crap in the nite nt sleeping and my favourite "sabo-ing" the people, and the most "lucky" group will be the campfire committees. Its was quite fun toking with them cos they are much more older than the rest and we can tok more "things" haha! And btw people nxt time dun soak firewood using ur bare hands, cos it will make ur hands luks like pig trotters!

And also there are even "funny" casualties in the camp, especially..."u know who, i know who". Though i think i missed out the most funny part cos i fell asleep. Things are so much different nw and then, in the past reporting sick is so much lesser than nw.

And ladies and gentlemen, lastly i will like to say that "money is nt a problem" in this camp!

Today was such an disappointing day for mi, to think ur fren could said "toking to u is such a waste of time". Which is something i never speak of to a fren, this is like ur fren is such of no importance tat telling them these "important" things is wasting ur time. And telling mi to call her so she could scold at mi thru the fone, this makes mi feel like i'm throwing my face onto someone's cold backside. She said i was irresponsible for nt confirming things beforehand making her in a difficult position, then i asked wat is the consequences of it, then the ultimate sentence "toking to u is such a waste of time". This seriously makes mi doubt whether there is any frenship between us, as i feel tat even when ur frens really does somethings wrong we can sit n tok abt it (it's nt as if i've killed ur whole family!) If she can tell mi wat is happening, i will admit i'm wrong but if she doesn't i don't really think i've wronged. Also instead of making an effort to let mi understand the situation (which i think tat she also feels like it's a waste of time xplaining to a fren) , she jus hangs up the fone...Hello! have i done this to someone who i've befriended, frens out there asked urself this question!? Guys would u flare at ur frens over strangers or somebody u think are nt of importance? To mi this fren is, cos her actions xplains everything, or maybe in actual fact i'm the one without importance and those i think to her are unimportant is actually her "best-est-er" frens.

Lastly before i wanted to post this, i ask myself whether i shld do it cos i may incurred more damage to the frenship. Then i feel tat this damage wasn't cause by mi alone, and why shld i be the only one who hopes to "resurrect" this (alredi-ed) damaged frenship. Or maybe u guys think i shld call her and tok things out instead, but guys i've alredi slapped my face onto her cold backside once, u think i shld do it again with a possible scolding tat may come? And I don't think i shld make this approach first, cos i think my feeling are hurt more than wat she was.

Finally i get to rest again! For the last 2 days i've have been helping out for the presentation ceremony which i was not "personally volunteered totally" for it.

On Fri, i was only going down for the conduction of a course (and btw it was an ez course to conduct) but later after it, i was asked to help prepare for the next day presentation ceremony. We worked thru things like unwarping presents (trophies lah, btw none of it was for my corps), labeling the seats for the VIPs & prize receivers (which also none was for mi or my corps) and lastly the Lucky Draw tickets. It may seems that the jobs are only a few but we only get the things done until 5 when we started it at 1 plus.

Then on Sat, still my supposedly motive was to see if things goes ok for my cadets but then... i was asked to help out for the presentation (again). This time we did the printing of the program booklet and the preparing the auditorium (btw the aircon in the auditorium wasn't switch on until 3 plus which we have been working since 1 plus). Very specially it seems that today appointments are given very fast, cos the next moment i know i was alredi the one to do PA for the ceremony. And also promotion are very fast also, which unknownly i was soon was promoted to Grade 4 Officer. Btw all mentioned appointments and promotion is only effective until 12midnite!

Lastly for my consolation, the buffet that i was having was quite good cos the chicken, which i think is coated with honey was tender and nice.

In every year's presentation ceremony it seems that some people will be happier and some feeling disappointing. (Sometimes) When i think, when people continued working in something for many years we start to forget or our initial visions getting blur. I feel that we should always remind ourselves of our initial visions, which i think are the most "pure" and the most "enthu" abt it.

When promotions are a good thing, we should also not focus on it. Cos i think working in a youth organisation where youths are the majority, recognition from ur youths are more meaningful which is quite hard for many people to realise, even for mi. So what recognitions are meaningful? That's for u to find out, and nobody else!
