Ok...finally i've bring myself to blog, cos these days i have been staying at home slacking so nothing much to blog, so might as well blog afew events together on one blog. I think this will be better for my 'loyal' readers, instead of reading some 'got something, got nothing' blog entries. Anyway here's my 'reports' on last Sat and Sun, where i had some interesting events!
25/11/06
Today was my organisation's zone presentation and inspection. Things didn't go as i wanted, after long hours of rehearsals the inspection parade has to makeshift for the wet weather. Instead the parade was downsize to only the GOH contingents for inspection, many have expressed their disappointment but no choice the heavens doesn't want it. Still learn something from planning this parade, hopefully next year still got chance for me to plan the parade.
Next was the zone presentation, not many turn up as expected, i think only 200++ people came for the presentation. Prepared too many chairs and was left empty, making the presentation look empty. On the presentation, got to receive my commissioning to warrant officer, below is my warrant officer rank...

My SJ's Warrant Officer's rank
SAF's Warrant Officer's rank (Master Warrant Officer MWO)
Hmm...so i'm equivalent to a MWO? My one got laurel under the coat-of-arms leh!
SPF's Senior Station Inspector rank
Hmm...it seems that i'm equivalent to SSI? Hey this one also has laurel, like my one!
Also, i have receive my first medal in my life during the presentation! Let me introduce you to my first medal, this is known as 5 years first aid efficiency medal, presented to members who has service for at least 5 years. Members joined as a cadet will have to achieve 7 years, cos one cadet year is only considered half-year, so my four years in secondary school will only count as 2 years. Hmm...wait something is wrong, those who know me knows that i'm not so young as to have only graduated from sec sch for only 3 years. Yes you are right, technically you will receive the medal after 7 years, but pyhsically it took me 10 years to receive this medal. Wa biang 'ohh-dang' me for an extra 3 years, my coming Long Service Medal i'm gonna make sure i receive exactly when i'm qualified, which is two more years. Ok below is the picture of the medal, ribbon, and the minature medal.
My SJ 5 years medal!
(Also my 1st medal...)

Today woke up earlier than usual, cos today is my cousin, Fay's 'guo da li', so went over to her place to witness the custom together with my parents. Reach there quite early, only afew cousins had reach (That Ah Long still can tell me he reaching at 10 plus...), around 11 more people came and the place starts to get crowded but hapiness was in the air. btw lots of good food were around to entertain us too, Fay's mum cooked quite a variety of food, especially the chicken wings.
Fay's 'si dian jin' was technically not gold lor, it was diamond lor, i managed to get a glimpse of it while the rest was crowding around to see. Didn't get a good look, but according to those who have seen the thing said it was beautiful.
Also bcos almost all the cousins were around, someone suggested we re-take a photo when we were still little kids, i guess i was only 2-4 years old bah!? Anyway the then photo was took when we were seated on the steps of a staircase, which was the one outside my grandparent's house. This time we took it out the staircase of Fay's place, this time the steps of the staircase was narrower than last time. Anyway we took some time before we got settle down to take the photo, but too bad the photo wasn't taken by my handphone so cannt show you guys, but will get from the rest the photo!

Yesterday rushed down to HQ only to find out that they are out of stocks, haiz...too bad! After that rush down again to clementi to meet yvonne and weiye before going to NH jamboree fest. Upon reaching, i seem so out leh so went around talking to those that are free, loitering around the place. So end up tying up ballons for the fest, playing heart attack with some before got remanded by a teacher for too loud, hmm...not me too loud is the rest, so excited over heart attack that they scream whenever someone says heart attack!
Then waited til around 6 plus, the buffet starts, but yvonne and i together with some other sec 4s were sitting around the table chit chating. Waited until all has gotten their servings, then we went to get ours. Only after finishing the food then found out we missed out on alot of food, like meat balls, etc. No wonder after everything, on the way home told the rest that i feel hungry and the rest also has the same feeling.
For the dancing part of the fest, didn't took part cos 'walk off' during the period of time. Stay outside the hall with a few, chit chatting, peeking through the folded doors, waving in dark to impersonate ghost, tok about a 'banana' who wears green...

Wah...wah...wah...and more...wah...wah...wah!!! So...so...so tired sia!!! My first time choreographing a inspection is such...such...a challenging task man! With so many problems like manpower, some people come late, some corps promised to send the required amount in the end came only afew, which was such a big difference. Haiz...out of the required 144 only 81 came, biang din't even reach 100.
But for consolation the weather is good today, hmm rather too good! The sun was so 'burning' that 10am - 11am was like 1pm sia. My face looks like a 'bao gong' sia, blacker than before, while others got sunburned. (Continued later the next morning) Then this morning woke up and found my black face to become red face, now i look like 'guan gong' liao.
Hopefully next week the response will be better, otherwise have to downsize the inspection liao! Which probably will only consist of the GOH contingents, maybe consolidate the 81 people into GOH, which will formed 2 contingents of 39 bah!?

Wa biangz eh! Woke up at this hour (4 am plus), cannot seem to go back to sleep. Aiyo...dunno why sia, afternoon can doze off so easily but night have to try and sleep!? I think must be the fengshui of my room is bad sia!? Got to try to see if i can do some sleepy fengshui placement to make me sleep at night (and not only afternoon).
Guess Zzz monster is working only in the afternoon and not night. Afternoon always make me so sleepy, especially when i had my brunch an hour ago. Wah...if continue like that, i confirm become a big fat pig liao...which you will find me standing next to the window liao!
Now listerning to music and waiting for 6 am, so can go wash up, watch show then prepare to go out at 7.30 am. Hmm...i think i listern to wrong song liao, now listerning to JJ's dou jiang you tiao, feel like eating that now sia!

Haiz...it's Friday...and i've no program. Feeling boring leh, but for consolation...my weekends are always very packed, can't even recall when i was slacking at home on a weekends. If i'm not having break, guess i'll be rushing for my assignments bah. Thinking of assignments, makes me feel hapiness now cos i dun need to woory about submission datelines. Get to sleep when i want, sleep until very late also can, then wake up liao eat brunch, then maybe play some computer games, tired liao sleep again!
Hmm...seems like having break is still good leh after thinking about it, was thinking quite abit free...hoping to do something like going to class (when i'm havin break...duh?). Anyway, attending lessons are also very fun, get to joke around with my classmates, basically everyone in the class are fun, but i only get along most is this particular group. Cos they are more mature and most importantly have common topics, whereas the rest i still joke around with them occasionally cos i've little common topics with them.
Ok...a few more hours to go and i'll be having my packed weekends, going here and there, guess my transportation fees this week is gonna add up again, just like every other weeks. Hmm...gonna get myself entertain now with some games, either play Lego Star Wars on PSP, which i borrowed from Jason, or maybe play again as sniper in BF2. Just remember, hey ah long when are you gonna buy BF2142?...and still waiting for Neverwinter Nights 2 to be release in S'pore...wa biang why are we slower than America, btw our time travels faster than theirs what!

...For your own safety, DO NOT read the following of an irritated man's blog entry...
...but if you still want to risk your civilized mind to the following, then pls sign an indemity form...
Wa lau! Recently so many f**kers trying to irritate me with so many problems coming out, giving me so little notice to provide alternatives...
Making me so tired of dealing with these problems, causing me to forget to do some others things. If everyone do things by the system, where got so many problems arising. It is not as if the system there was a useless one, which people should ignore.
Then, also got people last mintue then inform you cannot attend, and some more many say cannot attend. Asking for a alternative date, wanted to say..."there's no alternative date, u want to go...GO, dun want to go...GO". Not that I bias or what, the reason is the thing cannot postpone liao, deadline are alredi cramped up.
Also the people up there, now then pass me things that should have been done long ago, in the end now i've to do the work. So difficult to pass down the things meh, only pass down mah...dun even need you to print. Still can tell me the printer is coming...what "wait long long...then got" issit!
What i'm doing isn't comparable to what i'm receiving! Not that I want to claim credit or what, i'm only asking to give everyone a little thought and make someone's work easier. Is that very hard to achieve meh?

Just finished watching "Behind Enemy Lines", find it quite interesting cos it is able to let me sit in front of my tv watching it. Though some of the camera shots, I kind of find it unecessary if it is deliberately done so. But if it is bcos the cameraman couldn't hold his camera properly, then hmm...the makers...sort of didn't do too well for the show sia!
Anyway, in the show the Commanding Officer, who insisted to save the man despite attempts to cancel the rescue from someone his superior (i think). He at the last moment, decided to lead a team to save the man despite that he will lose his commanding position. I think if it was me, I would have done the same as the CO, firstly it is unethical for me to leave someone to die, secondly rules are meant to be broken, we shouldn't denied it!
I think breaking some rules in the process of getting something good out of it (not for selfish reasons lah), is suppose to be a better thing. If you are to blindly follow the rules, you are only considered a good follower, but if you can decide whether to break the rules for a better good, you a good leader.
