Yeah...finally cut my hair liao, feel much more lighter and manageable now. After cutting my hair decided to dye my hair cos i find that there are too much white hair growing all over my scalp. So today i DIY to dye my hair, hmm quite fun but during the process wasn't quite sure of the outcome, thinking "will the color comes out?". After i wash off i double check in front of the mirror, making sure that i colored all my white hair and whether the color is even spread all over my scalp. Luckily it did, now my hair is in the color of light brown but it is not very obvious, so next time when i wanna dye my hair again i will be more confident liao!
Yesternite went to drink again bcos there is still afew bottles left after the x'mas party, so went over to my cousins' place to drink. This time i drank a vodka sprite, afew cups of white and red wine, and as usual i'm not drunk but in the case of one of my cousin he is drunk the first (as usual).
Today is New Year's Eve but i'm staying at home relaxing, guess too much partying for this month liao, wanna relax down abit so as to prepare for the rush next year. Ok...so see you guys next year, hmm which is ard 7-8hrs away, lastly Happy New Year!

Yesterday's X'mas dinner was great! Ate lots of food and had lots of fun playing games, also had lots of drinks...white wine, hoegarden, barcardi, tequila and tequila pop (which is mainly just for the fun of it, not much of a kick to drink), and lastly had vodka neat. Woah this is my first time drinking so many types in one nite, no wonder i got abit giddy after my 2nd vodka neat but still i'm not yet drunk.
The food was good, especially the
sabu sabu beef, which is my first time eating beef and it was good, another is the
terriyaki chicken, which i had two servings. The rest includes the usual dishes like clam chowder, this year is really thick as compared to last year's, and
pasta, which we called it
meepok bcos of it's looks.
Next we played zhong ji mi ma, managed to only lost once! Then was the indian poker, where i lost the last round and had to eat the grapes, cos we used fruits as our stakes. Lastly was the dunno-wat-it-was-named game, where we had to called down the numbers 1...2...3... then when u have to called out 7 you have to say merry x'mas instead, when merry x'mas is said there will be a reverse of direction. So this is the game but the best part was that we cannot say any ni, wo, ta, otherwise it will also be faulted. Only after the second round, everyone accidentally said ni, wo, ta, and it carry on and on and on until someone said going to finish the beer liao and told us not to say another word otherwise kena again, then the game continued.
Ok...Merry X'mas everyone!

After finish doing marketing for the X'mas dinner manage to rush back home to catch 'Black Hawk Down', although i kind of missed the first 20 mins. Anway the show was nice, but something always question me is that why "the commanders are always so daring as to walk ard the field when bullets are flying all over the place, and when almost everyone is taking cover". Is this the real situation? Does all commanders do that in battlefield? If they did, they sure can dodge the bullets well, cos not many commanders die in battlefield. But nevertheless i wish to become such commanders, as they are so calm even in the most chaotic situations! (Even when i think this isn't real...)
Me (Commander): Soldier you need to take a better cover! (Bullet fly pass behind me...shoo...)
Soldier: Yes, Sir!
Me (Commander): Soldier I need you to drive me to the field.
Soldier: I'm hit, Sir!
Me (Commander): Everyone is hit, even me! Now get going.
Soldier: Yes, Sir!
Medical Officer: Sir, you're injuried. You better not go back!
Me (Commander): I need to do what I need to do!
Me (Commander): Now hurry with the bleeding.

This is a re-write, you will know why later...
To kill my boredom, i went to vivo city with jane and yufeng to do window shopping. Both of them expressed that it is an surprise for me to travel such far distances for shopping, actually it is bcos i haven been to vivo cuty so wanna visit it at least once, therefore argeed to go vivo city. Anyway, the place is really big, and as a result we got lost afew times. The stores seem to be sort, cos some levels are which i dun visit, that is the branded stores. We mainly shopped ard the 3rd level or 2nd level cos it sells 'cheapo' things. Anyway ended our shopping trip with afew prize (cheapo) items!
(Power Failure)...my fan stopped slowly and a 'blink' my com is off...
(My reaction in a power failure)...Wa biang power failure...so sian! Is it only my house or is it the whole block or area? (...went to chk the mainboard...) Hmm...didn't tripped leh!?...Eh how come outside so many commotion, haiz must be the whole block liao lor! (...waited awhile, then went to find snacks to eat...) Wa biang still not yet back arh? (...calling SP services...line engaged...) Sian...wait lor. (...after some 10 mins...my fan started moving again, and com starting liao...) Yeah finally it is back!
Wa biang...so sian, type half way suddenly kena power failure. Anyway reminded me of the simulated power failure at camp, so pple it is good to be prepare for such cases. The simulated power failure is not for fun, it is to test ur response and how u can be prepared for such cases. As for me, i'm prepared liao...my house has afew light sticks just in cases and a bag of tea lights, but what happen just now was in the day time so not much of a thing to do lah! (Except i can't open my fridge to take things...)
BTW here is a link to the NCOC '06 video...sorry dunno why i can't upload onto my blog...so click on this link to enjoy bah!

Wooh...just finished a camp yesterday but did not feel that i've enjoyed as much as other camps i've attended. Maybe because i'm too preocupied with problems arising from the camp, and or becasue i missed the campfire nite.
Last Sunday was Fay's wedding, so break camp and went to attend the event. Together with Qilin, Ah Bao and Brenda we took a cab down to Furama riverfront to attend the solemnisation ceremony. We reached there at 4.45pm, and found out that we are too early and Yingqi, Fay's bro is not there yet. So we make our way to the place the ceremony will be taking place, also there isn't anyone there either. Finally at 5 plus everyone came, also the bride and bridegroom, but me, qilin and yingqi did not attend the ceremony cos we went to prepare for reception later for the dinner.
During the dinner, the cousins enjoyed it, 1stly was the food cos everyone of us get to eat more cos each table seated only 8 (we got two table). We also get to toast to the couple, listern to the 'speeches' especially was Fay's cos she was talking...erm...
Lastly, wishing them Happily Ever After!

Hmm...getting more and more pro in preparing for camping trips sia! Last time require a kit list and at least one day to pack my stuffs, maybe also bcos when was a cadet need to bring more stuff bah. Anyway as time goes by and the more camping trips i go to, i start to know what things is necessary and what is not, this way my bag gets lighter and little things to pack. Guess by now you shld have guess that i'm going on a camping trip, that's rite i'm going for a 5D/4N camp, but one of the day i'm going back cos it's my cousin's wedding so got to attend. And i haven't started my packing, so tomolo morning got to prepare liao!
Anyway tml is my first day of the camping trip, shld be an easy day i guess bah!? Cos only doing preparation for the next four days, and also try to get the rest to bond, otherwise won't be able to work together for the next few days.
Always like camping trips cos through all these trips i got understand my frens, and we get to bond much more closer. That's is why (i think lah) we are so close and can work together well, although everytime we got differences lah, but always come to conclusion! This time round, the camp has many others which i've yet to camp with them before, most of the old 'khaki' are not joining actively this time, so only two of the old gang including me! I wonder what kind of 'spark' i'll have with this new group?

NCOC theory finally came to an end...but it isn't the last of it yet! Ok back to it again, was excited abt it cos i love to go camp and have fun, but instead was disappointed. During 1st day of it, really cannot feel the 'atmopshere' of a training course, and dunno is whether i din't sleep enough the previous day that cause me to see myself in a diff style yesterday. Kept telling the rest that "i feel like a mother hen", this is totally not my style! Also was 'big-headed' bcos half of the PSOs couldn't attend it, two already told me earlier so got abit prepared for it, one wasn't prepared and didn't receive any word of him not coming. Although i 'think' i'm SUPER, but i dun think i'm that super to attend to 3 depts, and each has a membership of ard 10+. Without a better knowledge of what their heads' instructions to them, i really have no idea what to give them instructions.
On the 2nd day, gotten more sleep from previous night, was better now. HQ is now more disciplined and getting into the mood of it, but still their thinking has yet to switch. No wonder today have to repeat myself that "you guys are becoming seniors, and therefore you have to explain yourself, no more of just yes or no answer". If they're not going to think abt it, they're highly to fail as a senior nco, and will not be able to achieve higher levels. For consolation, today has a better 'atmosphere' of it, and feel that HQ is improving themselves, so maybe more time given they'll show me better performance.
Also have to mention abt this guy Marvin, talking to him can really cheered you up alittle, cos his replies are almost totally unexpected. But then again, he can also irritate you alittle too, cos he likes to ask common senses questions and questions that shloud be answered at his current level. No wonder why i've to tell him "Marvin, one more time you ask me qns that you can get the ans yourself, you'll get it from me".
Ok...so what to expect during the camp, which is four days from now...hmm better not expect anything 1st otherwise get disappointed again, but still shld set some goals for me to achieve in this camp, otherwise cannot feel got accomplishment.
