At las...finally got back in...was having problem with my computer. Really makes me feel like not using the computer anymore but that is not possible cos we are in the IT era, without it will only makes you outdated and being outcast in matter of seconds! If still cannot solve the problem then i shall call them and let them handle this fustrating problem(s).
Nevertheless yeaterday was a pleasant day because of Sunday Primetime Movie as Channel 5 was showing High School Musical. The show really make its way into my list of favourite movies, along with those big production movies. In the show there are quite a number of singing and dances, which really makes me feel like singing and dancing. This is the first time that i've ever watched a movie and have the urge to go for KTV-ing sessions. Also it also reminds me of those Bollywood movies that also have alot of singing and dancing but they have something more like the running around the tree. Still both the Bollywood and High School Musical seems similar but Bollywood sometimes are more "magical" in the sense that suddenly you find many people dancing with the lead but when they are in a desert...(-_-"). Although the plot of the movie is somewhat typical of a romance but what is captivating is the singing and dances in the movie. Lastly it make me feel like going to the stores and buy the other versions of the movie so that i can listern to the other versions of the songs.
Being critical (not most of the time) of mediacorptv, not for no reasons, is that their local programmes are somewhat not very appealing to me. On the other hand they do bring in some interesting overseas programmes which are appealing to me and most audiences. For this they deserve some praises but limited to their "importing" capbilities. This makes almost all my stay home Sundays a pleasant experiences as i get to watch movies that i dun feel like catching in the theatres, and also those that i thought would not be interesting but turned out to be appealing.

My plans for a rest day on Saturday seems to be unpleasant and there goes my precious Saturday. First of all wanted to sleep till afternoon before i wake up and have my brunch, but then was bombard by a series of bad dreams, yes a series. Can't remember the dreams liao, just that i cannot go back to my sleep liao, and that was 7 plus in the morning. So i chose to get out from my bed and switch on my computer, intending to play some games and when i'm tired i'll go back to my sleep. Played for quite some time and didn't find myself tired to go back to my bed, so carried on until my supposedly brunch is back. In the end my sleep but instead wash up for my early brunch, which was around the time of 11 plus. After my brunch went back to my computer and after one or two hours have passed, i'm starting to feel sleepy. So back to my bed lor! My sleep wasn't a good one even though i fell asleep quite soon but was constantly disturbed by the "noise" at my void deck. It seems that someone is getting married but then again the wedding seems to be much more nosier than any i've encounter. So wake up a few times, went back to sleep, then wake up a few time again and went back to sleep again. I think this lasted for two to three hours after i decided to just wake up and play some games instead. The noise still goes on even when i'm typing here, why do they have to be so...so...so...noisy huh? When they sing a song why do they have to like shout into the mic, is it because it makes them feel like "divas" and "sopranos"? Sadly this seems to conclude my rest day on a Saturday, it i've known of this would happen i would have make plans to go out, at least it will make my day slighter better...i think.
With nothing on the tv channels to watch and after hours of playing computer games, i feel that i'm bored with nothing to spark my excitement. Except that i'm here typing here on my blog with some mindless nonsense. After looking at this Saturday it seems that tomorrow will be a better day cos i believe the wedding will be over, unless they decided to have one more lah?! Tomorrow on tv also have something i wanna watch, which is High School Musical. The show seems to be a nice show with lots of singing, i guess it can make my viewing experience a interesting one.
Now...now to make my day slighter a better day i've decided to look into the future so as not to "waste" another weekend. That is to plan my program for tomorrow, and what i'm gonna do is to go for a shopping trip at bukit panjang. Planning to stocked up some snacks so that i can eat during watching High School Musical, probably starting back to my Hello Panda tasting campaign. After thinking, feels like wanting to eat some chips, chocolates, and many others...aiyo...cannot eat so much leh. Afraid of getting heaty again!
Nothing in my mind to type abt anymore but because i am quite bored that i can only find abit of entertainment though typing on my blog. Haiz...so sian but also dunno what can be done to get my boredness away and they are still making so much racket downstairs...can they dun shout into the mic mah? Is there really a need for that people...?

Yesterday gotten a free ticket to watch Transformers from chen mei, so this is my chance to watch the movie. Initially don't want to watch the movie or rather don't want to spend a few bucks to watch the movie.
My review for the movie is that i find the story a little interesting for the part that it involves parts of the elements from the cartoon series, for the rest of the plot is rather very typical of the good vs evil and trying to save and destroy the world (or earth in this case). Still the story is able to capture the attention of the audience through the actors and actresses, especially the main character played by Shia LaBeouf. His acting is exceptionally good that it really brings out the humor part of the character.
Other than the characters, the main should be of the transformers, the autobots and decepticons. I find that the robots are too robotic in the sense that they do not have a specific feature, unlike their predecessors (the cartoons) who have very distinctive feature that can be easily recognised. That's why during the fighting scenes of the transformers, sometimes i can't figure out which is this transformer. For the voice of the transformers, only optimus prime has the original person doing it (was told). The rest of the voicing is also disappointing especially for starscream, who always does his high pitched together with screaming, but all these are not found in the movie.
From my personal perspective of a avid fan of transformers, ever since i've watch the cartoon when i was very young. i prefer the transformers from the cartoons and i believe fans of transformers also prefer the cartoons-kind of transformers. Which is why i find it disappointing as the movie does not help me reminisce my memories of the old times when i watch the cartoon. The movie feels rather new to me, more like a "new" transformers, which is why i think newcomers will find it interesting and oldies will have some disappointment.

Yesterday forgot to mention that i've gotten my First Aid Cert. Now i'm a recognised first aider!

Some things about the cert:
The certificate is recognised in Singapore by a few of the relevant ministries.
The certificate is the same qualification as of from Red Cross.
The certificate is recognised internationally, bcos other countries also have St John mah!
The certificate is smaller in size from Basic First Aid, bcos it is more compact to put inside a wallet, which can be shown easily whenever required.
The certificate is valid for only 3 years, same as from Red Cross. Can extend by attending a refresher course before the expiry date.
From my understanding, St John and Red Cross is the only two (very recognised) organisations that issue First Aid Certificates. The reason for the inclusion of very recognised is bcos there are other corporate or non-corporate organisation providing certification, but then most people recognise mostly St John and Red Cross probably of their long history in such services. Just to mention, St John has a longer history ever since the First Crusade.

I AM SUPER DONKEY! Why? Because yesterday till now i haven't sleep and still can do blogging sia! Wanna know what made me the "SUPER DONKEY"? Read the following lor...
Friday nite went to do some marketing with sharon and kar for the steamboat later, went to NTUC, and the shopping trip was not a organized one cos we keep on going back and fro the place to look for this and that. Finally done with the marketing, went back to sharon's place, and everyone still not there YET. So play abit of mahjong first...then the rest finally came at...hmm 9 plus bah?! Anyway eat the "steam" and the "boat", was quite fun except that i think i was talking most of the time...After steamboat we played mahjong, quite fun initially cos i got win abit, then later sian liao cos i lost alot. We ended at 2AM plus...OMG! Tml everyone still got work and i need to wake up at 5.30AM...wa biangz! Got on a cab after that and reached home in 5 mins lucky my fren lives at CCK. Shower liao, do abit this and that...it's 3AM liao...wth...i only got this little bit of time to sleep. Jump on my bed and try to sleep...BUT i cannot sleep...dunno wth why.
Wake up or rather got up from my bed only and went to wash up at 5.30. Then make my way on the 176 bus to bukit merah...is far de lor...reach liao...yeah! Wear uniform...people rushing...people fall in...and the strength of the course is only half of the original. Didn't feel sad initially until i found out that people didn't come bcos they scare...wa biangz...so low confidence. Tat's the sad part... I think is better to come and face it then just avoid it, therefore really appreciated those who DARE to showed up, even though some may have failed, but still they have MY RESPECT. "Hormat...Senja....TA"

...*ring*...*ring*...my handphone alarms rings and my day starts. Wash up and prepare to journey to jurong point for breakfast with afew of the cousins and after that my anticipated movie, Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. Went to LJS for the inch-thicked sandwiches, ordered a turkey bacon set. The set was filling cos after the meal didn't even want to touch on any of the popcorns that the rest brought.
At around 10 went into the cinema for the movie, waited for around 10 plus minutes, while watching the meaningless advertisements, the show finally starts. So excited that the point of time when it starts! The movie was ok in my sense, dun worry i won't provide any major spoilers except on how i find the show. Why ok and not fantastic? Cos as you should know that the book is very thicked, which also means it contains an extensive amount of information. But the movie is only 2 hours plus show, so surely it cannot contain the extensive information, therefore there are many details not included in the movie. Probably the director or scriptwriters already had in mind that most audiences would have read the book before they watch the movie, which explains their shortage of many details. For the best part of the movie is the action that is packed into it, the uses of magic for the battle scenes captivated me the most, maybe bcos i'm a avid fan of magical fantasies, therefore i always like magi to cast spells and fight each other with it. My most disapointment in fantasy is LotR, cos the magi in the movie didn't have "powerful" spells or spectacular magical effects.
Whether i recommend to watch it or not, then if you have already catched the previous four why not carry on the trend and catch this as well. If you haven't catched the previous four movies but already read the book, why not catch the show cos you already know all the details so the story shouldn't bother you too much. In short go catch it!
Now the unpleasant part that we encounter is that through out and i mean THROUGH OUT the show, the people behind us keep on talking and comments ALOT abt the show this and that. Then one of my cousins told them to keep quiet (in english), after a while probably only seconds, they started it again! Then another cousins told them can keep quiet anot? (in chinese), cos they are talking in mandarin, which sounded like Chinese (China one!), same thing quiet for a few seconds and they went on again. This time another cousin turned his head and did the 'Shhhh' sign to them, same thing again...continue in matter of seconds. We dunno ask them to keep quiet for dunno how many times lor! After the show, we looked at them clearly and they looked like they are in the late 20s! Wa biangz...so old already they still cannot think and act like one, i've cousins at the age of 16 to ask them to keep quiet! Dunno is their own habits or they have a serious cultural problem that everyone in China is talking in cinema while watching!?
After the show went to pasir ris for my young cousin's year old bday. The house was decorated with 1st bday decorations as we approach my uncle's place. Saw my two cousins, the older one and the bday boy. The older seems to be excited and approached me whether i wan drinks, feels abit weird though cos i'm not very close with the younger cousins, except that i played with him afew times and showed him some magic tricks before. Anyway the party or celebrations is fun, my favourite are all the food. The buffet is nice with my favourite salad you tiao and the cake was nice cos it is lychee martini. Seems weird rite for kids, but actually the cake has really very mild of the achohol probably only the fragrance, but anyway liked it very much.

LEGO Group Secures Exclusive Construction Category Rights to Indiana Jones™ Property
--World’s best-selling construction toy brand to bring blockbuster movie franchise to life in LEGO® form—
NEW YORK (June 18, 2007) – LEGO Group, the world’s leading construction toy manufacturer, today announces a partnership with Lucasfilm Ltd. to produce building sets based on the Indiana Jones franchise – one of the most globally successful movie series ever made.
Three worldwide blockbuster films, and the highly anticipated May 2008 premiere of the new Indiana Jones movie, will provide inspiration for a series of highly iconic and action-packed build-and-play adventures of the rogue archaeologist and hero.
“There is such a natural synergy between Lucasfilm and LEGO enthusiasts of all ages that makes combining our stories with the LEGO play pattern an easy decision,” said Howard Roffman, President of Lucas Licensing. “We’re thrilled to have a chance to share the history and success of LEGO Star Wars with another Lucas franchise.”
Four playsets based on the classic trilogy are slated to launch in January 2008. Three sets based on iconic scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark include: Temple Escape ($49.99 USD) which brings the legendary rolling boulder scene to life in LEGO form as Indy faces spiders and poisoned darts in his search for the Golden Idol of Fertility. With Race for the Stolen Treasure ($29.99 USD), kids build two desert vehicles and recreate Indy’s truck-hopping fight to save the treasure. Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb ($19.99 USD) recreates the eye-popping suspense of Indy rescuing Marion from slithering snakes in an Egyptian tomb. And based on Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade action, Motorcycle Chase ($9.99 USD) depicts the scene where Indy and his father escape with the map to the hidden temple.
Four more constructible playsets based on the fourth movie will launch in May 2008, with suggested retail prices ranging from $9.99 to $79.99 USD.
“We are thrilled to be bringing yet another blockbuster Lucasfilm property to life for LEGO kids and adult enthusiasts,” said Jill Wilfert, vice president, partnership and alliance management for the LEGO Group. “The marriage of strong story, well-known characters, dynamic vehicles and action-oriented movie scenes with the classic LEGO play pattern is a proven winner, and Indiana Jones lends itself perfectly to the build-and-play world of LEGO building.”For more than 25 years, audiences have been enraptured by the exploits of Indiana Jones. The film trilogy – Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade – garnered 14 Academy Award nominations, won 7 Oscars, and grossed over $1,182,000,000 at the box office. The films are among the most popular movies ever made and have become a legendary part of film history.
[end of extraction]
I wonder what kind of sets will it be, if the sets aren't interesting to me probably will only collect one or two small sets. Hope to see what the sets look like asap!
Now is S'pore Sale dunno whether there is any LEGO on offer? Didn't go for shopping cos whenever think of going town, i feel very sianz liao. Bcos the so many people in town during weekends, will only go on weekdays. Hope to find a few sets that i like to be on offer like half-price! Hahaha!

@#$%...wah lau eh, kena a ucler on the side of my tongue. So painful, cannot chew my food cos very pain when my tongue brushes with my teeth and also when the food touches the ucler. In the end resorted to only eat porridge for brunch. So...so...so unforunate leh, cannot eat well not bcos of appetite but bcos of the too-pid ucler. Every now and then have to drink more plain water and apply the bonjela on the ucler to relieve abit of the pain. Dunno whether the bonjela really heals the ucler faster anot!?
From yesterday onwards i started to become "mute", lazy to talk cos the everytime i open my mouth to talk the pain comes. So very reluctant to talk now, and when i need to talk the pronouciation of my words is not clear and need to repeat myself, this really adds up to my suffering. So in the end i will not talk at all, if can minimise all conversation unless it can be written. That's why i can still "talk" so much here even when i've such a lousy ucler!
So sianz arh...so many food i want to eat! I want to continue to try Hello Panda for the two other favours! I want to eat curry'O and pepper'O from old chang kee! I want to eat sushi, long time din eat liao! So many to eat but so little energy to eat, cos of this too-pid ucler!

Early in the morning...
2 A.M.! What a wonderful time to do blogging sia!? Anyway just got back from a cousins gathering, and afew of us went to the weekend 24 hrs Mcdonalds around my place. Showered and is waiting for my hair to dry before i can go to my soft bed, therefore decided to do a blog since i've switched on the computer to check some stuff.
Btw shouldn't have come back so late, but since tomolo, which is sunday lah, the meeting was cancelled so no need to wake up early in the morning. In the end stayed longer to spend more time with my cousins. Though abit bad also lah, cos since got meeting then wanted someone to collect their certs from me, but since the meeting is cancelled and i want to rest for my sunday, decided to cancel the appointment as well. Felt abit bad lah...but very quickly my mind tells me that it's abit of my priviledge for doing so much for CPB. Haha...lame excuse...but will return you the certs during one of the weekdays lah.
Oh...and after dunno how many donkey years since i've collected a walkathon, i've collected one today (actually is yesterday) voluntary. Wanted to help abit, but will be on a casual effort lah, cos i dun have much meet ups with friends these days. Today got small cousin gathering so brought along and ask for their donations. Didn't really ask for donation, instead i asked them whether they got $1 and asked whether they can give me. Cos we are close cousins they just gave me a dollar without asking me why, then told them thank you for your donations. Haha...manage to get 4 cousins but got $5 liao! Oh...cos i know quite a number of SJ members are reading this donkey's blog so must be politically correct to advise you guys NOT to use this method cos is unethical. I did this bcos i'm already very close with my cousins and they don't mind my actions.

Yesterday, got the chance to catch one of the Exorcist series, Exorcist: The Beginning, though not the best of the series, still excited to watch. Cos i dun watch horror movie by myself and especially late at night, the most is i watch documentaries on hauntings only.
So at 10 pm plus, switched to channel 5 for the movie. Starting of the show is more like introduction, nuthing scary. Then as the show goes on, the horror gets more intense, but i dun feel scare cos the scary parts are quite predictable. When the lights suddenly goes off, and when it comes back, something will happen. There are some parts that i even find it amusing.
After the show i kind of find it disappointing but then i figured that probably becos this is a prequel, so it is more focus on telling the story than scaring audiences. Hopefully this is what the director wanted, if not i think there is still room for improvement. Probably should go rent The Exorcist to watch cos i think by far it is the best of all the series.
This morning, interested to know about the series and abit on exorcism, i went to read it on wiki. Gotten quite abit of information on matters pertaining to it, then happen to come across a related subject on a manga and anime. D.Gray-Man.

[extracted from wikipedia]
The plot revolves around
Allen Walker, an Exorcist, at the end of a fictional 19th century Europe. Allen is a member of the Black Order, a group of Exorcists connected with the Vatican. Their mission is to stop
The Millennium Earl, an evil being planning to cleanse the world by destroying all the humans in the manner of Noah's great flood.
The Exorcists themselves are special people gifted with the ability to control and use Innocence, a divine substance created in the ages past to combat the Earl's minions, the Akuma. It is said that there are exactly 109 units of Innocence scattered around the world. Once an Innocence finds its compatible person, it will evolve to become a weapon to fight the Akuma.
As the story progresses, Allen Walker is introduced to more Exorcist characters, among them are
Yu Kanda,
Lenalee Lee,
Lavi,
Arystar Krory, and
Miranda Lotto. Also in the spotlight is the older brother of Lenalee Lee,
Komui Lee, the church's science department supervisor,
Bookman, a mysterious colleague within the church, and
Cross Marian, a General in the Organization and Allen's master.
More villains also appear along the way. There are higher level Akuma, with greater power, skill and wit. Also appearing is the
Clan of Noah, a group of humans descended from Noah himself. Each member is gifted with great power, and the group has allied themselves with the Earl.

After watching 9 epidsodes, i find it interesting and would have continue watching, if not for some problems. So far it has released 37 epidsodes liao, got to catch up asap, anxious to know how the story will unfold.

Yesterday, embarked on a journey before the "sky becomes bright". So early have to wake up, 0530!!! Then have to take a long journey bus from one interchange to another interchange, the journey was tiring man, and adding to it i dun have anything to do ecept looking out the bus for things that might spark my little interest.
Finally after a long distance travel, reached the destination liao, HSS. Was there to help conduct the ancoc. Starting of it the response was super lousy, so we decided to do the "iron fist"...haha! Mine was much better for the trainees, i guess, cos is in air-con room mah. Dunno how exactly i did for the lesson, cos ask them just say the usual "funny" and "ok". Not very constructive leh!
Anyway had some fun sort of "sabo-ing" the trainees, told them "people always say they are here to pass you, but we are here to FAIL you". Also emphasize to them i'm serious, even though i was smiling when i said that. Then told them "we are only expecting 30 people will pass the course"...then a "huh". Then the most fun is when swee kiat was tekan by nora, so funny. He seems to me like he is being stressed. After the incident i continue to sabo him, saying "he just had brushes with death", meaning he is so close to failing the course. His expression during the tekan and after is so amusing. Although i told them this when i dun seem serious, it is actually true, haha...cos we are expecting a very high standard from them.
After the course, we went down to HQ. The journey is long...very long, bcos of the traffic along orchard rd. The BBQ was quite fun, except that not all turned up. Overall i still had fun with everyone. The most surprising thing abt the BBQ is that when james told the few of us to pay $1 for the BBQ, for a moment i thought he was kidding, then he explain why. So this is my first time in my life that i paid the least for a BBQ.
After BBQ, most went back but some...i think 9 of us decide to go eat deserts. Initially was going to army market but instead went to bugis cos suksi recommended. So walk from beach rd to bugis, along the way we chatted and laughing...almost creating a racket. Then we met some tourists riding the trishaw with techno music on!? when we went pass them they waved at us and we also waved at them together with some hello and "ahhhing". Finally reached liao, but the recommended one was fully packed, some went to it's opposite which has air-con lah.
Everyone can't seem to decide wat to eat cos this is the first time for everyone, took a long time before we decided to order what. Before the ordering, everyone was looking at the menu and some comment that the price is x...and some mumbling...then suksi said "this will be her treat". Woah everyone suddenly more readily to order liao...commented that everyone are so good in their "acting" to bargain a treat. We continue to make a racket in the cafe with our laughter, laughing at almost every conversation. The batch of us never fails to make each and everyone happy and laughing loudly all the way.
Finally we finished at ard 11.15pm before we embark on our journey back home. Reached home at ard 12.30pm, went shower and after that remove everything from my uniform for washing, while doing that can feel my eyelids are heavy and closing in liao. So within minutes i went to bed and very quickly went in my dreams.
Enjoyed alot myself for the day, it was a fun day. Hope to have more of these days more often, cos will make our lives more meaningful and happier!
