At 5 plus, me and a few cousins hop onto the rented car and we proceed to meet up with the other group. Along the way we got lost not one but a few times before you finally to to the place, always plan your route first if you are not sure of it!

Anyway after all the fetching, it was my time to drive to "tian wai tian" for the fish head steamboat, i guess that is what you call it in english. Whatever, we got lost this time cos got miscommunication and we do not know where the place is. Finally reached there and have to do parallel parking, long time never do liao and so many cars behind, make me ka chiong and make me forget about the "formula" of parking.

The service there is rather what one of my cousin said "LL" one, meaning "attitude". We basically eat like banquet style, one dish after one dish, they seem not able to serve a few in one time. The main aim is the fish head steamboat but not exactly the fish head, it is the soup that is the tasty one. Drank one bowl and find that it is quite nice, where the rest like it more cos i not the one into fish head.

After that we went to east coast park, originally decided to go walk walk the beach but in the end some of us went to play acrade and some stayed at BK for small talk. Tried my hands on the soft toy grabing game, was fun for me, very tempted to grab one. In the end didn't manage to get any cos the soft toy always drops out whenever the machine "jerks". We also played mario kart and that was fun and the thing about this game is to get items rather than chiong first, cos the first one is always the target board for the others.

Finally we take off to changi, wanting to visit old changi hospital, along the way dropped by changi village to see XXX. The following details is too obscene or gross that it has been censored away-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------OMG-----------------------------------What the---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Are they real?----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------, then we took off to old changi hospital.

Reaching there, seeing some many people seems to like spoil the mood but luckily they are leaving. So after arming ourselves with a few torchlights and with me a videocam, we went into the grounds of the old hospital. The first thing that "greeted" us was the recording of the "amitabha" song, it was actually the guard playing the recording. Then we went into the building and it was super quiet except with the song playing, and sounds of a few girls. Happened that there are a group of girls playing somewhere near the building at the bottom of the hill.

Did not manage to catch anything or see anything that, except that some of us felt something like the heavy smell of dettol. Cos the place is unused so for a long time, so why is there such a heavy smell of dettol. Also some felt that one particular room the air feels to be stagnant and not comforting. After circling the building we found that we are at the fourth and fifth floor, so we decided to go to the other side to explore more. We went back to our cars and just so unlucky one of our car battery went dead. Some of us feel that it is too much of a coincidence, but there is a more proper explaination, the rented car is very old and lousy. At least we "jump start" the car and it is movable again, but we did not carry on the exploration because one of us is too scared after the first exploration.

Then we went to geylang for supper, along the way went to petrol station to pump up and then the car cannot start again, so sian. So called the vendor and ask him to do something about it, luckily he seems to be in the vicinity and came down quite fast. Charged up the battery and the car can start up again. Procced to meet the rest at the dou jiang shop and had our supper, the you tiao are not bad it is crispy and one of the toast, forgot called what liao, is also very nice cos the fragrance of the egg makes it very nice. After that we wanted to go some other place but some of us is already tired and some afraid to go for more exploration, we decided to go back home and end our journey at geylang.

In overall sense this trip is fun except for a few "cork up-s" and "screw up-s", the trip is fun and i hope to go for another time especially to go for spooky explorations. Should do more of this, if not when we are old liao we may not have the time to play through mid-nite liao.

Yeah...hurrah...banzai...Happy Birthday! Yesterday i got myself a LEGO for my birthday present, although this isn't the intended set i wanted. But since it is a new release and most importantly it is on offer! The original price is $109.90, very ex though i brought before sets that are much ex lah, anyway this set is on offer for $69.90! Woah it's almost 40% off, so it is too much of a temptations not to buy myself one.

The set i brought is a LEGO chess set, so it's like a normal chess set but the pieces are all made of LEGO minifigures, and almost all have special characteristic. Unlike those previous ones, they all identical on both sides, just the different in colours. So this is a great collection fro me!

Actually i took fotos of the set i brought but the fotos turn out to be rather disappointing, that's why i didn't post any and took the pics from LEGO website. i guess a cheapo digital camera still has its limitations, hope to get a good camera in the time soon. The pictures from the website is not very closeup but just to let you guys have an idea of how it looks like.

Also later today the cousins are going on their first trip out in car, rented one car and borrowed one. We intend to go makan at potong pasir, geylang, changi, and other places, i think it will be a great fun as there are 10 of us going on this trip and we intend to play until the next day!

Birthday and Mid-Autumn together, what a special birthday! I get to eat two kinds of cake, cream cake and moon cake, haha...no cream cake this year though but got moon cake! Should i put candles on the mooncake so i can make a wish and blow the candles? Erm...maybe not lah seems to be abit old for that, but still thinking of buying myself a present. Want to buy myself a LEGO but still pondering on which set to buy, haha so many i like that came out this year and also early next year.

Btw yesterday went to Botak Jones for the first time with my cousins, i think the gathering is some sort of celebration for me cos i got a treat. The food is quite cheap as compared to those at restaurant, the good thing is no service charge cos is at a kopitiam. Ordered fish and chips, the fish was rather dry for me, like it juicy, but there was alot of chips. We even ordered more chips but with cheese and bbq wings, can't even finish the sides.

Anyway time to showcase my LEGOs again, happened to found another "cheapo" display box somewhere in one of my drawers. So get to display another set of LEGO, this time is still Star Wars but is Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, where Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker battle it out at the final duel.

Luke Skywalker taken as prisoner, escort by a stromtrooper to Emperor Palpatine.

the final duel and the saga continues...

I finally discovered that my LEGOs are really dusty, cos most of them at placed at other rooms, only the smaller ones are placed in my bedroom, under my bed. Happen to place them there bcos doing some shifting so just casually placed them under the bed first, and what do you know, it was left there until i finally realised that it has become dusty.

So took out a paintbrush, not used for painting before of cos, and brush off the layer of dust on the LEGOs and used the magic wipes to clean it. Afraid to use water to clean now cos last time i did that and dunno why, probably the water not dry yet and left a strain. So now very sad over it and looking out for strain removers.

Anyway clean some of the LEGOs and found that if i place them back to the same place it will get dusty in no time, so thinking how to keep it from dust? Then discovered this big rocher box filled with "golden flowers" that i made whenever i ate one. Emptied the box of flowers and placed my LEGO into it and using it as my cheapo display box, until i found a suitable one.

Below are two of the better looking photos i took after i've place the LEGOs into my new cheapo display box. It is Star Wars: Episode 1, where Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi fend off the Battle Droids.

This morning (opps midnite liao) *erm* Yesterday morning went for KSJ test, the one test that i never pass before when i was a cadet, but not going for retest either. Something more tiring which is to invigilate the test, but still i'm not the chief so still can slack around and "tok cock". BTW an annoucement to everyone, Plea...Ssse volunteer yourself to invigilate the test also leh, i everytime very lonely go down alone, where everyone is a couple...(-_-"). The department is always open to everyone that enjoys giving numbers, printing, shopping, chit chatting, etc, in conclusion it is a "super duper" fun department to be in! Please volunteer (fine print: THIS IS COMPULSORY VOLUNTARY, which means "IF YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER, VOLUNTEER, BUT IF YOU DUN WANT TO VOLUNTEER, STILL VOLUNTEER!)

btw, get to know someone by the name of... "no pork, no lard", Halal? Chao Guo Tiao w/o lard? Its Adelard (i think the spelling is correct bah?), quite a "special" name eh!? Whether he is halal or not halal, i can only remember him as "Chelsa's Bf", cos...er...you get the details yourself. And i thot my name is the most unique, Ah Tan, hmm...i need a more special name but still must be close to my name...it shall be "Genki Tan Ah Tan"...bahahaha...special eh!?

Anyway...my main aim for this post is to inform future KSJ test takers, if you kena Set A paper your best choice is either B or C, cos most of them are Banana and Chiku. But still study for the test lah...use this method only if you really cannot decide which is the correct one.

Yesterday went for dinner with some of my cousins, went to clementi wanting to try the "heard to be" very nice western food and the satays. In the end it was disappointing as both stalls are not opened. So in the end went to our usual eating place, the coffee shop beside mac, and we ate our usual claypot rice together with other dishes like sambal kangkong, rojak, popiah, and stingray. Ate super-ly much, no wonder today weighted and found myself heavier, haiz have to go on diet again!

Anyway, then we went to walk around the pasar malam and happenly to chanced upon a shop that sells Hello Panda. Nothing to be amazed right cos you can find them almost everywhere but this is special, it is two new flavours i've yet to try. Initially thought one of them is the "legendary" cheese flavour but it turns out to be something else.

This is the two new flavours.
(left) Cookies and Cream (right) Choco Peanut
In case you can't see properly, i've circled it.

So...first will be the Choco Peanut... *de...de...de* (opening sound of box)

Here's the package! Erm...same colour as Double Choco. You can check back to my old post for the previous two flavours i've tried. (Double Choco and Strawberry)

Here's the biscuits...

The filling looks almost the same colour as the orignal Choco. And it tastes almost the same but this you can smell the peanut but cannot taste it. It is not what i've expected, thot that it will be more like peanut butter or something more peanut-ly.

Rather disappointed by Choco Peanut, i went on to try Cookies and Cream.

Here's the package...*drooling*
OMG it is black man...(relative of Double Choco)

The taste is like the brother of Double Choco because of their chocolate biscuit but this time it has the cream instead of choco. i find the taste to be more balanced than its brother (Double Choco), you don't taste an overdose of chocolate in your mouth. This will be a better option for those who do not like too much chocolate.

Last note: i brought these two box from a "sort of" convenience store and i would advise everyone to buy it from more established stores like NTUC, Watsons, etc. The reason is that these two boxes's biscuit is not as cruchy as those i brought from NTUC. Dunno is whether is because of the different manufacturer or what lah, so anyone who has met the same thing can share. These two boxes is manufactured from Indonesian, where the previous two i brought is from Singapore.

Yesterday AGI was expected...not so great or rather not good but the gathering of everyone member is great, which is the only reason that i went for it. Expecting alot of waiting, prepared a "sort of" fun pack for my corps. Brought some tibits, want want, bin bin, oreo wafer, and lollipops, lucky there is more than enough for everyone. Also joked around with the planning of making "real" fun pack like the NDP for next year with alot of very stuffs like fans, party pops, etc, it really we did that we'll be a very special zone!

For the parade part it was rather disappointing, ignoring the marching contingents and their commanders, the most disappointing is the colour ensigns. With practice, they still can commit mistake so obviously, haiz! Cannot blame them for everything also, cos the organizers should have call for rehersals much earlier for more practice. No matter what, our zone did quite good, with our marching contingents and commanders marching well. Which prompted our zone to clap for them (we are the only zone that started clapping, then other zone followed suit). Also lastly is that all my corps members did very well for particpating the parade throughout, Well Done!

Other things that happen is this officer who kept interrupting us, wa biangz eh, we know when have to salute and when no need leh. But bcos of his interruption i became blur for a moment and did some salutes not required, wa lau!
